Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32) recently hosted his annual "Senator for a Day" program at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. The event brought together 146 high school students from 17 schools, 22 teachers, and 17 panelists for a unique educational experience.
During the event, students had the opportunity to participate in a mock legislative session where they could draft, amend, debate, and vote on their own pieces of legislation. This hands-on activity aimed to give students a deeper understanding of the legislative process and civic engagement.
