Borough of Smithfield issued the following announcement on April 6
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that the park and basketball court are now off limits to all due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If you have teens who are playing basketball at the court, please let them know that they are not permitted to be on the property until further notice. There is video surveillance, so if we find that anyone is up there, they will be asked to leave. Hopefully, this will be under control soon and all the little and big kids who enjoy the park and the court will be able to do so again. I think we're all looking forward to that day!! Praying for you all!!
