State Rep. Charity Grimm Krupa | Pennsylvania 51st Legislative District
Rep. Charity Grimm Krupa of Fayette County has announced the allocation of $3.25 million in state funding for various improvement projects within the 51st Legislative District. The funding is provided through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP).
Several organizations have been selected to receive RACP grants. The Boy Scouts of America Laurel Highlands Council will receive $500,000 to upgrade shower facilities and the main sewer line at Heritage Reservation. Living Stones Inc. has been awarded $650,000 for repairs and renovations at the historic Gallatin School Living Center.
The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Fayette is set to receive $1 million for construction projects at Thompson’s Crossing Business Park. RMZ Holdings Inc. will use its $350,000 grant to enhance accessibility, seating, and sound equipment at Timber Rock Amphitheater.
West Virginia University Medicine Union Hospital has been granted $750,000 to construct a labor and delivery unit.
"Whether these grants are going to a health system, a business or the Boy Scouts, they’re all going to make a difference in the lives of folks here in Fayette County," said Rep. Grimm Krupa.
The RACP is managed by the Office of the Budget and supports regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects.
