Rep. Ryan Warner is set to host his annual Veterans Recognition Breakfast for veterans residing in the 52nd Legislative District. The event will take place on Friday, November 1, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Connellsville Township Fire Hall, located at 905 Fireman St., Connellsville.
Warner emphasized the importance of honoring veterans' sacrifices, stating, "It is so important to recognize and honor the sacrifices made by the men and women who have served our nation, both in times of war and in times of peace." He added that hosting this breakfast is "one small way to say 'thank you.'"
The breakfast is complimentary for all attending veterans, each of whom may bring one guest. Additionally, information about services available to veterans from state and federal agencies will be provided.
Veterans wishing to attend must RSVP by Thursday, October 24. Registration can be completed by calling Warner’s office at 724-437-1105.
The event covers communities within the 52nd Legislative District including Connellsville city; townships such as Brownsville and Bullskin; and boroughs like Belle Vernon and Brownsville.
