Rep. Ryan Warner and Sen. Pat Stefano have announced over $2.44 million in state grants awarded to various municipalities and a school district within Fayette County's 52nd Legislative District. The funding aims to support local infrastructure, facilities, and services.

“These grants represent a vital investment in our communities and our citizens here in Fayette County,” stated Warner. He emphasized his commitment to advocating for financial support to improve local roads and infrastructure.

Stefano highlighted the importance of these funds for equipment upgrades that enhance municipal operations. “Public safety is paramount – so whether it’s a maintenance vehicle or a necessary update to a school building, we must stay dedicated to keeping residents safe,” he said.

The grants are part of the statewide Local Share Account program, funded by state gaming revenues. Additionally, Warner announced a $500,000 grant for Frazier Area School District to replace inefficient doors and windows and install a new HVAC system at the middle/high school through the Public School Facility Improvement Grant Program.

The Commonwealth Financing Authority gave final approval for these grants on Tuesday.
