Connellsville, PA - Despite the ongoing Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Crawford Avenue (McCray Robb) Bridge Rehabilitation Project, Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32) assures constituents that his Connellsville district office will continue to operate during this time.

"Though navigating downtown Connellsville may be a challenge in the upcoming months, I encourage constituents to keep the businesses on both sides of the bridge in mind throughout the course of this project," Stefano said. "Our office hours will not change during construction."

Stefano's district office, located at 171 West Crawford Ave., Suite 2, will maintain its usual operating hours of 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Constituents traveling to the office from West Crawford Avenue are advised to take the official detour on U.S. Route 119 North and exit south on Pittsburgh Street.

To ensure accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists, shuttle services are available. The planned shuttle stops are on West Crawford Avenue at First Street and West Crawford Avenue at North Meadow Lane, which is conveniently located across the street from Stefano's office. For shuttle arrangements, individuals can call 724-317-1428.

The Crawford Avenue Bridge, also known as the McCray Robb Bridge, has been under rehabilitation since January 9th. The project, which is expected to continue until late 2024, includes the addition of a shared-use path to the structure, providing a safe route for pedestrians and cyclists.

Stefano's commitment to serving his constituents remains unwavering, as his office remains accessible and operational throughout the bridge rehabilitation project.
