City of Connellsville issued the following announcement on Dec. 30.
Hey all! It’s that time of the year where it’s time to discard of your live Christmas trees. Unfortunately the city does not have a tree recycling program BUT residents can take to Superior Mulch to be recycled at NO COST. Local farmers will take them for their goats too. If any local farmers want to comment we can let the community know who will take them. If anyone know of other ways to recycle Christmas trees please comment below. Thank you.
Residents can also put their live Christmas trees on their curbs and County Hauling will take them.
