Borough of South Connellsville issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
Late notices for the sewage/garbage bills will be going out again this month. We have many residents with high balances who have not made a payment in months on their bill. Once the water company lifts the ban on water shutoffs and gives the ok to resume water shutoffs, you will have a specific number of days to pay the entire amount past due in full. We will no longer be accepting payment arrangements for these past due amounts. As communicated in a previous posting on our FB page, a communication posted on the front door of the borough office, and a notice communicated on each bill telling everyone to stop in the office ASAP to set up payment arrangements, we have given all residents enough notice and time to take care of your accounts.
