Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32) is hosting a free Senior Expo on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Bedford County Fairgrounds, located at 729 W. Pitt St., Bedford.
The expo aims to provide residents with information about resources and programs offered by state government, as well as local nonprofit and community groups. The event will also feature door prizes and free health screenings for attendees.
“It’s my goal to ensure that seniors in Bedford County are aware of the variety of programs and services available to them. I hope that our expo can highlight these initiatives so that senior citizens, as well as their family members and caregivers, can best utilize these resources to enhance their quality of life,” Stefano said.
