City of Connellsville issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
The final details for this years It’s A. Connellsville Christmas which will take place on Saturday December 5th from 9-4pm are almost complete. This year councilman Ethan Keedy wanted to add a new toy collection event that will be distributed to children in the Connellsville school district. With the help of our Connellsville police department, new Haven Hose company and fayette Ems we will have a police car, fire truck and ambulance to stuff on December 5th from 9-4pm in front of our east side firehall. Our first responders will be on hand throughout the day to help collect the new unopened unwrapped toys. We are hoping that the response will be great and this will turn into an annual event for the Connellsville community. #stuffafirstrespondervehicle
