Borough of Ohiopyle issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.
Since the annual buckwheat supper by the Ohiopyle-Stewart Fire Department was cancelled due to the Covid virus, Kentuck Union Church and Oak Grove Union Church are holding a virtual buckwheat supper. The fire department will still get much needed funds and you will not get any unwanted calories.
If you give $10, that's a PLATE OF BUCKWHEAT CAKES.
If you give $100, that's A GRIDDLE OF CAKES AND SAUSAGE.
