Borough of South Connellsville issued the following announcement on Oct. 7.
The Borough is aware of the garbage issues with our announced Fall Cleanup. Borough personnel are currently attempting to resolve the matter with our garbage services provider, Advanced Disposal, to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. Borough Council is as concerned as all of the residents are over this problem, and we will provide an update as soon as we know more. If you wish to report specific issues, we would ask that you send an email to the Borough Secretary at sconnb@zoominternet.net rather than flood the Borough with calls at this time. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
