Metzgar announces second license plate replacement event on October 19

State Rep. Carl Walker Metzgar | Pennsylvania 69th Legislative District

Rep. Carl Walker Metzgar has announced a second event for replacing illegible license plates, scheduled for October 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. The event will take place at his district office in Somerset, situated between Walmart and Lowe’s.

Metzgar expressed gratitude for the collaboration with local authorities: “I am grateful to once again team up with the Pennsylvania State Police, Somerset Borough and the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office to provide this important service to residents.” He also acknowledged the Somerset Volunteer Fire Company for their traffic control assistance during the previous event.

Drivers attending will receive help with paperwork required for obtaining new license plates. Metzgar assured that his staff would handle submissions to PennDOT, ensuring replacements are sent out in the coming weeks.
