Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32) and Rep. Carl Walker Metzgar (R-69) will host a free expo for senior citizens on Thursday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, located at 1845 N. Center Ave., Somerset.
The event aims to provide residents with information about resources and programs offered by state government and local nonprofit or community groups in the Somerset area.
“I encourage seniors to take advantage of this convenient opportunity to gather information and speak to agency representatives face to face about issues that matter most to them,” Stefano said.
The expo will also feature complimentary health screenings and opportunities to win door prizes.
“This informative and interactive event is a great one-stop shop for seniors to obtain valuable information on any issues they may be, or are currently, experiencing,” Metzgar stated.
