Perry County has applied for grant funds offered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community and Economic Development’s Strategic Management Planning Program. The purpose of the program is to establish short- and long-term financial and managerial objectives that will strengthen the fiscal capacity of the County government along with the integration of long-term community and economic development strategies that strengthen the area’s tax base.
Perry County is looking to hire an independent financial consultant to work with the County Commissioners, Chief Clerk, and senior staff to develop and implement the multi-year strategic management plan. The deadline for submission is September 16, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
