LHSD/IU 1 Partnership w/ UPMC to provide COVID-19 Vaccines to our Community

Laurel Highlands Senior High School issued the following announcement on Jan. 5.

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff,

The Laurel Highlands School District is teaming with Intermediate Unit 1 and its partnership with UPMC Children’s Hospital to provide vaccination clinics in our region. The vaccination clinics are open to students and community members. Three clinics will be held, one at each of the Intermediate Unit 1 Campus School locations, beginning Wednesday, January 19 (Greene County), Thursday, January 20 (Fayette County), and ending Friday, January 22, 2022 (Washington County). The clinics will be held from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. 

The following vaccines will be available:

  • Pediatric Pfizer (ages 5 – 11)
  • Pfizer (ages 12+)
  • Moderna (ages 18+)
  • Johnson & Johnson (ages 18+)
  • Boosters will also be available for those who meet eligibility criteria. 
To schedule an appointment, please complete the pre-registration process prior to the clinic using the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/WqnxCjBmPb or by calling 833-838-9085. 

A parent or guardian must provide consent for their child to receive the vaccination, as well as accompany their child when receiving the vaccination. Please see the attached flyer for additional information.
