Windber Area High School issued the following announcement on Nov. 24.
If you signed up to borrow a device from the school we will be handing them out Wednesday, December 2nd from 12:00pm to 5:00pm in the High School/Middle School Cafeteria.
Chromebook pickup will be at our High School/Middle School Cafeteria starting at 12:00pm - 5:00pm on Wednesday, December 2nd. You can pull around our bus loop to the main entrance of the building and I will have the side door to the Cafeteria open.
There is no login name or password needed to get the students onto the Chromebook. Once you connect the device to your wireless internet at your house it will automatically take them to a website here at the school. They will then have to select what grade they are in and then they can click on their teacher's picture or name. Teachers will be updating their sites to have supplemental educational material on them. To preview this site you can click on the link below:

You will not have to sign anything as we will use the form you filled out as your agreement to borrow this device from the school. Safety measures will be used by staff handing the devices out. Weather permitting we will be able to walk out to your car with the device and charger and hand them to you.
