WINDBER AREA HIGH SCHOOL: PIAA Fall Sports Update

Windber Area High School issued the following announcement on Aug. 8.

Attention Fall Sports as of today, 8/8, the following is a TENTATIVE Guideline of starting dates. This is only tentative and may change:

All sports begin on Aug 24 as first practice date except football. Aug 24 is beginning of heat acclimatization for football.

First Regular season contest date for Golf is August 27.

First Regular season contest date for Tennis is August 31.

First Regular season contest for Cross Country, Volleyball, Field Hockey, Soccer and Football is September 11.
