Wine & Beer Tasting

December 9 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

You are cordially invited to the  Wine & Beer Tasting at Ligonier Tavern & Table occurring this Friday. The tasting will feature Wines from Bordeaux, France.

Among the most famous wine regions of the world, Bordeaux is blessed with diverse, high-quality terroirs. It is a region that yields a broad range of wines from outstanding collectible bottles to everyday drinking wines, celebratory sparklers and sweet dessert sippers. While best known for its red wine blends (85% of Bordeaux production) made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, Bordeaux also produces dry white blends made primarily from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, one of which will be featured at the tasting on Friday.

At the tasting, we will pour wines from a variety of subregions within Bordeaux:

2021 Cheval Quancard, Cuvée Clémence Entre-Deux-Mers

2015 Château Villars, Fronsac

2016 Château Haut-Logat, Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

2019 Château L’Etoile de Clotte, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

2019 Château Talbot, Connétable Talbot Saint-Julien

2017 Château Loupiac-Gaudiet, Loupiac

Beers at the tasting will be paired with hors d’oeuvres.

Enjoy 6 wines or 6 beers paired with hors d’oeuvres at the tasting occurring Friday, September 23, October 21st, November 11th, and December 9th 2022 from 6-9 pm. $45 per person.
