Warner to host Seniors for Safe Driving seminar in Connellsville on May 8

Rep. Ryan Warner announced on Apr. 27 that he will host a Seniors for Safe Driving Seminar for area residents aged 55 and older. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 8, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Connellsville Senior Center located at 100 E. Fayette St., Connellsville.

The seminar aims to help senior citizens improve their driving skills and qualify for an auto insurance discount. A certified instructor will cover topics such as communication with other drivers, risk management, airbags, sharing the road, road signs, signals, pavement markings and additional safety measures.

All participants who complete the seminar will receive a certificate entitling them to a minimum of five percent off their auto insurance premiums for three years. The registration fee is $17 per person. Warner requested RSVPs by Monday, May 4 via phone or online registration.
