Today we celebrate Boy Scout Sunday. We recognize all the scouts and leaders from our parishes and area. Scouting helps boys grow spiritually, morally, emotionally and physically. Congratulations to each boy who has made a commitment to this program. May they continue on the path to Eagle Scout. I have been impressed with the number of young men who have become Eagle Scouts. I also thank all the adults who helped with the local cub packs and scout troops. Some have not had a child in scouting for years, but have stayed active. This is a tribute to the goals and precepts of the Boy Scouts of America. I thank the scouts for all they do for our parishes, our parishioners and our communities. Continue to live well the principles and points of the Scout Oath and Law.

Fr. Paul
