State Rep. Charity Grimm Krupa | Pennsylvania 51st Legislative District
Rep. Charity Grimm Krupa of Fayette has been appointed Republican secretary of the Pennsylvania House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee. Grimm Krupa shared her sentiments on the appointment, stating, "As a proud member of a military family, I can’t overstate how honored I am to be appointed Republican secretary of this distinguished committee." She emphasized the importance of bipartisan cooperation on this committee, highlighting the critical role veterans and first responders play in communities throughout the Commonwealth and country.
Mark Gillen, the Republican chair of the committee from Berks County, expressed his support for Grimm Krupa's new role. "I am enormously pleased to partner with Rep. Krupa in leading the Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee," Gillen said. The House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee oversees the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, and the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
