Senator Pat Stefano has recently shared updates on community initiatives and commemorative events through his official social media account.
On December 5, 2025, Senator Stefano announced the opening of a new facility in Jennerstown: ” The Laurel Mountain Senior Center in Jennerstown is now officially open! The center will provide a wide range of programs and services to meet the community’s needs. Thank you to all who contributed to making this resource a reality.” The Laurel Mountain Senior Center aims to offer various programs and services tailored for local residents, particularly seniors.
Two days later, on December 7, 2025, Senator Stefano marked the anniversary of a significant historical event with a commemorative message: “Today, we remember the events of 1941 as our nation was thrusted into war by the attack on Pearl Harbor. This day is forever memorialized not only for its tragedy, but for the extraordinary courage and unity in our country that followed.”
On December 8, 2025, he addressed Pennsylvania’s hunting community by promoting a charitable program: “If you’re 1 of the half-million+ hunters taking to the field this deer season, consider participating in Hunters Sharing the Harvest, which lets hunters donate deer to be processed into more than 1 million servings of nutritious meat for families in need.” Hunters Sharing the Harvest is an initiative that allows hunters to donate venison for distribution to food banks and charitable organizations across Pennsylvania.
Senator Pat Stefano represents Pennsylvania’s 32nd District and frequently highlights local projects and statewide programs aimed at supporting communities throughout his district. The opening of senior centers such as Laurel Mountain aligns with ongoing efforts across Pennsylvania to expand resources for older adults. Programs like Hunters Sharing the Harvest have operated since the early 1990s and are supported by state agencies and nonprofit partners working together to address food insecurity among vulnerable populations.
