Laurel Highlands Senior High School recently issued the following announcement.

Notice Regarding Special Education Files

NOTICE:

The Laurel Highlands School District in compliance with IDEA regulations will begin to destroy all Special Education files (any student having IEP records) for any students who graduated in the year 2011. 

The School District will begin to destroy these records beginning on December 1, 2021.  Anyone wishing to pick up their school records will be permitted.  Please obtain and complete a release form.  These are available on the district website, www.lhsd.org.  Once you have completed this form in its entirety, please contact the Special Education Department at 724-437-2821.  Your records will be released to you once all paperwork is complete and your records are retrieved.
